Fitrana Calculator
Sadqa-e-Fitr per family member (wheat rate).
About this calculator
Sadqa-e-Fitr is due from every member of the household — including children and newborns — before the Eid-ul-Fitr prayer. This calculator multiplies the per-person fitrana amount by your family size, so a household of six sees the total due in one step instead of doing the maths by hand.
The amount is linked to the market price of about 2.5 kg of wheat (some pay the value of dates or barley instead), and it changes with grain prices each year. The rate field is editable so you can use the figure announced by your local scholars or masjid, and pay the correct amount on time.
How to use
- Check the current fitrana rate (wheat value) announced for this year.
- Enter it as the per-person amount.
- Enter the number of family members, including children.
- Pay the total before the Eid prayer, ideally a day or two earlier.
