Discount Calculator

Sale price after % off — know your savings.

About this calculator

Sale season in Pakistan — Eid sales, 11.11, winter clearance — is full of percentage-off tags that are hard to judge at a glance. This calculator turns any discount into the final price and the exact rupees you save, so a 'flat 40% off' on a Rs 3,500 shirt becomes a concrete Rs 2,100 before you reach the counter.

It also handles stacked discounts, like an extra 10% off on already-reduced items, which shops rarely explain clearly. Use it while shopping online or in malls to compare two sales honestly — the bigger percentage is not always the better deal once base prices differ.

How to use

  1. Enter the original price in PKR.
  2. Enter the discount percentage.
  3. See the sale price and your savings instantly.
  4. Add a second discount to check stacked offers correctly.

Frequently asked questions

How do stacked discounts work?

They multiply, not add: 20% off then 10% off is not 30% off. Rs 1,000 → Rs 800 → Rs 720, which is 28% off total. The calculator handles this correctly.

How do I find the original price from a sale price?

Divide the sale price by (1 − discount). A Rs 2,100 item at 40% off was originally 2,100 ÷ 0.60 = Rs 3,500.

Are 'up to 70% off' sales real?

The maximum discount usually applies to a few items; most stock carries smaller cuts. Always run the actual item's numbers — that is exactly what this tool is for.
